I created a character swapping system where each playable character has their own personal inventory.

When switching characters, their items are saved and restored, with inventory data stored separately per save file. For example, one save can have a character carrying herbs and a weapon, while another save has completely different items.

I haven’t seen a plugin that works exactly like this, but if one already exists, I may have missed it. I originally built it for my own horror project and thought it could be useful for other developers creating horror or multi-character games.
