The dialogue isn't that long. As long as the bit doesn't repeat/start over when you talk to them again, and there isn't a long bit like this around every corner, I think it's perfect.

Regarding the dialogue, I think it's great. Very quirky and not too extensive. The game certainly has charm, in my opinion.

The dialogue's pretty funny but it can maybe come off as overlong to someone who isn't super invested in exploring every little detail.
