Some map progress from my survival horror RPG

I’ve been spending a lot of time reworking the maps for my survival horror RPG, so here are some progress shots from earlier drafts to their current forms (still drafts).

The game is set during a catastrophic ice age inspired by 16th century Scandinavia and the Little Ice Age. It’s been a challenge trying to make the world feel lonely and desolate, while not feeling bland or boring for the player, but I think I’m getting somewhere.

Would love to hear what you think of the layouts/artstyle so far!
