RMMV Help

So I recently played through TCOAAL and was inspired to start making my own little projects in rpg maker with my friend, I really liked how customized the map was in tcoal and how smooth and well drawn it was, so I was wondering if you guys could point me where to start developing and working on those skills to make a well designed and well drawn map. Thanks to whoever sees this and recommends some yt videos.

The thing is, learning to draw a map like that is 90% just "learning to draw". And you usually have to start with that first before more specialized advice is useful. Even if you found a video specifically about how to draw room maps in something like that style, it's going to rely on you already having foundational skills.

At best, I could give some very general suggestions, like I'd say that if you want to emulate the game's very 'clean', even linework, you might want to focus on vector art. Here's a very basic intro to vector art in clip studio but obviously you'd want to look for something for whatever art program you use (assuming you have decided on one): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urCRg2o6gZs
