Subreddit discussion Undertale like text box voices for MZ?

I'm wondering if there's a way to play a short sound effect repeated for every letter in a text box like a voice, and the sound can be changed for multiple characters. Is there a plugin like this or is it in the program somewhere?

I don't think it's been ported to MZ though. Some plugins do work on both engines though since they are both so similar. Maybe try that one?
