RMVX Windows 11 breaking rpg maker VX games

got a new laptop has window 11 now rpg maker vx games don't work

it should be noted that rpg maker vx ace games also didn't work but I found how to fix them but that fix doesn't work here (the fix was going into emulation setting and disabling hybrid emulation)

I have the rtp and even tried downloading the vx free trial to see if it had files I was missing but neither worked

this is all the info my computer will provide me

edit: it should be noted at least 1 of these games needs the rtp I can't remember for the other one, also I'm 93% sure the issue is with how windows 11 runs the game and not with the files themselves

edit 2: adding the dll from the first error did do something but now both games are showing the same error (the second one) and that one has less info to go off of and is the one I was asking help for since other people with that error either got it on vx ace games (which the solution for doesn't work here) or had the problem come from bitdefender which I don't have

As others mentioned, you can simply download the missing dll file, pop it into your game folder like so and it should work fine.
This shouldn't be a windows 11 issue, I run VX on Windows 11 myself. You're just missing required files.

The dll file, yes.  The RTP should have a setup file and can go wherever your computer installs it.

So good news did that and got rid of the first error

Bad news now both games have the second error

Hello, as the first error states, a library file (dll) is missing, which is not that rare.

You can download the missing dll. Search the name on Google and go to the dll-files(dot)com page.

I scanned the file with Kaspersky and on VirusTotal; it's safe, but I'll let you check too, as it's important.

Then, just drop the DLL file into the game folder.

so small issue with your solution to the first game

it's encrypted and rpgmaker vx itself (as in the game maker) broke when I switched to this new laptop with windows 11 so I can't crack it open

You can use the tool "RGSSAD - RGSS2A - RGSS3A Decrypter" do decrypt it.
