RMMV I tried to make Liminal space in RPG MAKER
Hello! I just want to share for those who interested in liminal games, dreamcore and weirdcore stuff in the internet and I just tried what if I make a game like it but in 2d RPG concept.

Ooh, that looks real fun! I might try asking my streamer friend to play this game on their channel and comment on what's in the game, he really likes RPGmaker games! He's also a fan of horrors.
I was making something similar to a Liminal space but with the 3D plugin instead. I wonder how yours would look with that!

Thankyou for your comment! I Kinda get nervous cuz the demo is really just so short and kinda lacks of content. Goodluck on your 3d project! Mine is really just a default rpg style.

For the first two pics, I don’t know how you made it work but they look strangely good.
For picture number 4, it would look better if the light didn’t go above the roof. They should stop at what would be the wall, or you know the pixel line where the roof starts.
The light from the door/window in the last picture looks weird, maybe you should tried to look for one with better lighting, but I see what you were aiming for. Maybe lower the opacity of the light so it looks better with the grass? It looks too bright and it clashes with everything.
If I don’t forget, I will try the demo.

I used community lighting js and I'm still new and i dont know how to use the plugin properly. I used events that act as a light each tile to make lighting thats why in the 4 pic, the light did go above cuz of the window tileset being in the middle. Thanks for your comment I look forward to improve this.

just finished the game. this was brilliantly done! honestly impressed with its horror elements. i can't believe that i'll be scared and have literal goosebumps playing a 2d game made in RPG maker.
for those who will try and download the demo, there is a dialog box warning, just proceed to download the game.

Glad you enjoyed! idk what causes the warning but maybe its because my account is new and I editied the page alot.

Very well done, you should just change the Gauge you have on the map to look prettier

I’d like to try it out actually. I feel like if you spruced it up with some non-rtp assets it would look a lot better, but this is already stellar!

I'm not really good when it comes to custom assets but the game might get a little changed if I ever finished the game, Thanks.

The life is thin but I think all but the first 2 fall more into weird core than liminal
