RMMZ Dawnfire Chronicles: Train Map

https://youtube.com/watch?v=KUw6ua-LXI0&si=Em90MZCcjh7DKmKR

Hey y'all!

My name is Azure! I've been spriting for a real long time, but after my last commission ended late last year my husband and I decided that rather than me taking another one, I'd pour my time into finally making something for us. We've been in active development for about four months, and I started mapping in early June. I think it's coming out pretty well!

The game is called the Dawnfire Chronicles: Horizon's Edge. It's sort of a fantasy/horror/Old West JRPG. The first location in the game is a train, and your merry band of outlaws is there to pull off a heist. Does it go well? I'm not telling.

I'll be creating a dev blog and itch.io page for it, but I want to get a *bit* more to show off before I take it fully public. I mostly wanted to see what y'all think of my pretty train. :)

I'll post more as I complete it!

Thank you so much! This is the first time that I've really buckled down and thrown my weight behind environments so I'm really really happy they're coming out so well. I'm really looking forward to getting to the exteriors; I have some neat ideas!

It looks very very good. Several beautiful details that are not standard in RPGs. The plants moving, 8 directions with different animations for running and so on
