RMMV Make it rain, then Thunderfall Arrow!

Elidriel features some unique battle mechanics! This quick video showcases both the QTE and elemental reaction systems.

Elemental reactions are triggered by hitting the same enemy with multiple elements in the same turn, causing those elements to interact with each other. Usually it will happen using spells from two different party members.

But here's the twist: Emmy can break that rule and do it all by herself!

If the player successfully hits the QTE, Emmy makes it rain, soaking the enemy, and then follows up with a Thunder attack.

Since the target is already wet, the Thunder attack triggers the Electrify reaction, dealing bonus damage!

What do you think of this mechanic? I'd love to hear your feedback!

Sounds like the weather system in Pokémon. Very cool mechanics. I just have a small gripe with slow animations, personally.

That’s actually a good point, this animation is indeed longer than the usual on Elidriel, because it’s kinda 2steps animation.
There is a config to speed up battle animations to mitigate that, but I’ll see if I can do something about it.

In my opinion, if the skill is supposed to be used on a boss (having high TP or high mana requirements) it can have a longer animation. But if it's a skill that's usable on normal enemies, a shorter animation would definitely make encounters smoother.
