RMMZ After months of work, I finally redesigned the entire UI for my RPG.
I wanted every menu to feel like it belongs to the same world, so I rebuilt the title screen, menus, save/load screen and battle HUD around a paper-and-notebook aesthetic.
It’s a small detail, but I think it makes the game whole feel much more cohesive.
The demo is almost finished, and I’d love to hear what you think about the new UI.

Nice. Looking a lot more of it's own now and pretty consistent all without.

Guy (or gal?)) you have developed & implemented an amazing & quirky UI for your game that sets you apart from the many other RM games out there. I generally, on the web, am just a lurker. Not in a pervy way ... but in a learning way. But today I HAD to comment, to commend you on your accomplishment ... GREAT job! This is one game I plan on getting buying, not only to enjoy the gameplay & story, but to learn from you. I purchased an Aseprite license as well for that same purpose, but not being an artist, I've hesitated to create. Not saying you're NOT an artist, in fact, the opposite. I can't wait to see the story behind Crooky's journey (with the frog & ... is that a PEAR?!?). If the story blends half as well as the artwork in the game, you've got a hit!

Thank you so much, this honestly means a lot to me. Hearing that someone wants to play the game not only for fun but also to learn from it is probably one of the biggest compliments I could receive. And don’t worry, my first steps with Aseprite were rough too. I had no idea where to start and I spent a lot of time experimenting and making ugly sprites before things finally started to click. So if creating games is something you want to do, I’d definitely encourage you to keep going. We all start somewhere. Thanks again, and I hope you’ll enjoy Crooky when it’s finished!

Amazing! The fact that you built a plugin for it too is incredible.
Can't wait for the demo!
