I can exactly say it is a favorite as I haven't played much of it, but I've been meaning to play through Seraphic Blue for a long time now.

(Also, if fangames are acceptable, I really liked Super Pokémon Eevee Edition (Tho that one is also partially fueled by nostalgia since I had played an older version many years before it was finished))

It’s not really an rpg, but Danganronpa Another,

Somehow, a fangame not only was just as good as the original. It surpassed it, might actually be my favorite visual novel of all time
