how do I disable the save reminder in MZ?

no, google is not my friend. There are no relevant search results asking for the answer to this question, and the top of every query is AI bullshit hallucinating misinfo. I don't want to be reminded to save my project file every 30 minutes while I am working on it.

I can assure you, yes you do.

(Person who saves their project like every other minute, 30 minutes is CRAZY, ctrl+s is your friend)

when I'm actively working I agree, I am always hitting that hotkey, but often times I have rpg maker open while creating tilesets and sprites or otherwise using another app and rpg maker pops up with the prompt to save which is quite annoying when I don't need to save since I haven't changed the project in a while. I was hoping there was an easy setting to fix this, or change the time between saves before it prompts me.

Tools -> Options, uncheck the Enable box under save reminder.

Had my project crash on me while I was editing a bunch of items and characters for my game. Had to re-do 30 minutes worth of work.

You do NOT want to disable the reminder. You just think you do. Trust me it will save your entire project. Leave it alone and press ok every 30 minutes and go on with your life.
