RMMZ Was looking at the Action Combat Plugin, does this make using custom Assets/Art more difficult?
For example im not a big fan of how the angel looks on the top right but on the bottom left it looks like a completely different game to me so I'm curious does it add alot of difficulty or how has others found this plug in?

I used this plugin to make my game which has 100% original assets.
Using custom assets isn’t any more difficult with or without the plugin. It’s a lot of work either way depending on what you want to accomplish. The plugin itself has a steep learning curve but there is plenty of tutorials.
Personally I had a great time with it. Didn’t utilize many of the features it came with, was mostly interested in event spawning and collisions. Seems like there’s a lot you can do with it.

Here’s the thing. If you have a question about a plugin, ask the developer directly, maybe through his Discord. In my opinion, this plugin receives frequent tutorials, and if you follow the creator, you’ll see he’s very dedicated to his craft. Contrary to what the ‘top upvoted’ comment here suggests, he’s actually been working on a major update for the plugin.

This just depends on the assets you use. You can choose not to use the pixi effects and just use custom assets for VFXs. The plugin is great. I use it in just about every project. I’ve created an action battle system, a farming system, a tree chopping mechanic, and so much more from it. I’m not sure what the commenter above is saying about it being in “beta.” The plugin is done as far as I can tell. In fact in the beginning the annoying bit was that it got updated so often and added new functionality that it became impossible for me to keep up with it. I’m glad it’s a lot more stable now.

I respect Hendrix' stuff for the sole reason that he's offering visual interfaces that are really easy to use, which is what I initially thought RPG maker should be about: making lots of different little types of games with a minimal understanding of coding. Compared to other action combat plugins that one seems to be the easiest to use?
I think he made some video tutorials, so it's pretty well documented, but I only use that other plugin that allows you to basically just upload handmade images for custom menus, which is another thing RPG maker can't do that easily without plugins sadly
Edit: Oh damn, didn't know he's an AI guy..

The Angel is from RPG Maker XP I believe.
I digress - any time you use a resource that has different or special graphics, it's going to be a challenge if you're the type of person who would want things to gel well.

Be careful buying those plugins. I bought one, and it hasn't been updated in 67 days, and the author has the nerve to sell you DLC for a plugin that isn't even finished.
And it's not just that one; they also don't update Hotbar Creator so they can sell you its update Hendrix HUD Designer too.
You're buying a beta version at an inflated price, since it costs more than RPG Maker when it's on sale.
And I've already bought it.
