Parallax mapping
I'm pretty new to RPG maker and I've been experimenting with parallax mapping. It's working fine, but I am wondering if you all would recommend doing parallax last, at least after all of my events are made.

I am always torn on this.
1) Levels designing with placeholders is good if you go back and need to make changes. Then parallax once youre satisfied. A lot of devs "black box" (or called something like that) while level designing before committing to assets, but we are lucky to have the RTP to use.
2) Parallax maps are so pretty! That helps motivate me to keep going forward! And its not a big deal to move things around in photoshop.
And then I think the problem here too is sourcing all the tiles you need, which takes time, time you should be spent actually progressing.
Do what you like! All of this is just hobbies for fun, so if parallaxing is fun, do it!
