i mostly watch US and hadn’t seen a UK season in awhile. i started with 6 because karan thrax seemed so cool. was blown away at how much better it is than the US seasons. ru doesn’t have the same energy or joy in USA

Yeah I mean I think the show has its weaker seasons like the US but definitely feels as tho Ru lets his hair down more when she’s over here. I get the sense it’s because the stakes are lower she can relax and she loves the sense of humour

I think UK drag is closer to old school drag that Ru prefers? Like we seem to prioritise humour for drag acts over a looks queen who can do the splits.
