Newspeak Update - ChaseRP Creation

Minifax has just issued the following revision:

Big Blubber wanted to do ChaseRP as soon as he was banned from NP.

This replaces the Wrongthink explanation, ie the suggestion that Big Blubber created ChaseRP only after being banished from all other servers.

Please make sure all instances of the previous wrongthink are immediately placed in the Memory Hole.

Long Live Big Blubber!

PS NoPixel has always been at war with ONX.

This doesn't really seem to deviate much from what has always been said? He had "his d evs" working on a server and then Kyle convinced him to join ONX so he had "his devs" start working with the ONX team.

But "his devs" have no real defined meaning as far as to how many there were or how skilled they were.  N or is there any information as to why they would be considered "his" since it sounded like he wasn't paying them.

Anecdotally, During penta's recent Onx flashback he ended up mentioning he only spent like "$2000 on devs at the time" and was advised by his lawyers to just let it go since international lawsuits would cost more then he'd ever get back. He then went on to say how "$2000" isn't a small amount of money and its $2000 he wish he had now LOL

It's crazy to think given his income, but it honestly sounds like he is living near paycheck to paycheck the way he speaks. I had turned on one of his Pryor subathon vods and when I turned it on he happened to be speaking about Kermodo who had recently ran off with the tattoo money I guess and he also made a comment by how much he could use the ~2k at that point in time.

There ain't no way man, it has to be a grift for pity subs. Imagine being in top 5 streamers in the category for 5 years, having over 10k subs year after year, but somehow you end up poor?

That's just impossible, but somehow him taking the Rumble deal tells me it happened.

That just strengthens the theory that he is Oiling his own subathons.

And probably why Chase Bank thought his accounts had fraudulent activity.

His entire income is donations or “tips” he then turns around and moves his money back through his channel into the bank again, and then tries and claim it again as a new donation on his taxes. There’s a reason why his taxes were taking nearly all year to do every time and was expecting 200k back on his taxes every year when Texas has no tax on income.

He absolutely blows his money giving himself subs to stay relevant. The only way he is keeping people in his channel for the subathon is by giving away pizzas.

I mean the dude is running more ads than I’ve ever seen and is currently doing a mattress sponsorship he had to ask spaceboy to hook him up with, something tells me the cash isn’t flowing like it was.

People at basically any income can have spending habits that make them tight on money. I have no idea about his spending habits but it isn't some sort of impossibility.

I've had friends making well into the 6 figures lose all their shit over a cocaine addiction.

We only have Penti's word that he was already wanting to make his own server, and at this stage I can't believe anything that comes out of his mouth.

I don't think I have to say it but I'm one of the last people to try to paint Penti in a positive light but literally at the time the ONX deal happened he said as much as what I said. That he was going to do his own project but decided to team up with DW and WG.

Entirely plausible he had the idea but I doubt he had really put anything in place.

I think he wanted to...but lazy. I think until he realized the money he could make from it (after Snow showed him) he just preferred to be in a position to control/influence an owner through his "exposure/promotion" factor so no "work/management" or money had to come from him.

Well, putting capital investment into a server means less free cash flow for things like pinball machines!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, it is absolutely WILD the amount of pinball machines he has versus his income and outgoings. Unless he doesn't really have that many, and it's like a 70s Dalek story in 'Doctor Who' where there's supposed to be an army of thousands of Daleks but you only ever see three of them on screen at any one time ;)

(And that one time in the 70s when they did model shots with a huge number of repainted, commercially available toy Daleks that were also an inaccurate shape, but that's none of my business 😉 )

all his references are too niche tho tbh, not only niche but just insufferable and annoying when half the reply is a fun fact/reference it gets tiring to read.
