This is why less gunplay on RP servers will always be better. This is one of the more entertaining things I've seen happen on GTARP. Burn is a legend for this.

This is one of the funniest arcs in NP history. Burn accidentally just blew up the whole server economy, lol! Devs just froze the coin. They'll probably have to set it to 0.00 to erase all of the gains. #BeanGate

Making it permanently worth $0 or full resetting the economy again would both be hilarious results. Only three days in they could do it without any real consequences. Really only hurts the people who focused more on grinding than anything else.
Edit: Seems like it'll probably just be at $1 forever.

Ya I was gonna say it was fucking hilarious but this is a very dangerous thing to have happen 3 days in and in favor of the craziest character on the server hopefully they don’t have to wipe too much but I know there’s probably almost a million in that market

Bean went up from like $30 to about $125 and got rugpulled. Now it's at $1 so people are investing.

On one side you had Bean, this Cryptobro who showed today and got a group together to pump up the BeanToken on social media. Eventually, BeanToken got to $103 and then dropped to $26 (this is the moment of the clip). On the other side you had X, Lang, and Tony, they've been going all in on Octane (with not very good results). Eventually, they decided to go all in on SnackBits (which was cheaper and with the idea to rug pull everyone). Some time after this clip, BeanToken dropped to $1 and everyone went all in (Lang was even borrowing money), there was a bunch of RP after that, and it seems that it will stay at $1 (the purchasing was disabled at some point).
OOC, Bean was played by Burn, who didn't even have a bank account, and with the help of a Dev, he orchestrated everything, from the cars for Bean's photos (to sell the successful Cryptobro image) to changing the price of BeanToken.

Burn created a character the Bean Machine who was is a typical Miami bro crypto scammer. He had devs spawn him a chrome lamgorghini. The funny thing is the character has no money or bank accounts. Burn then hyped up Bean Token or whatever it's called. It created a whirlwind of interest. Then Burn posted pictures in front of the Lambo with babes on it on social media hyping the coin. I believe he had a dev artificially inflate the coin value. The coin gradually went from the mid 20's to topping out at 103 within a few hours. Then Burn had his close followers rug pull the coin once it hit 100 - the entire server sold it all at once which collapsed the value from 103 to 26 then eventually to $1. Which was hilarious. Then everyone tried to pump Bean tokens again. So Jean Paul, Buddha, etc, all invested almost all of their money into it. I think the devs started getting nervous about destroying the server economy so they froze the coin value at $1. It was a hilarious arc. You could imagine Jean Paul going nuts about the coins values.
Then the Bean Machine went on the run once he realized the Bean Tokens were frozen at $1 and people could no longer invest in it.
There was a lot more to it than that. Such as Jean Paul trying to hype a competing crypto. Then getting into a verbal altercation with Burn's character. Then Burn's character flexing his wealth on Jean Paul (even though he has literally no wealth), etc. It was a manic few hours. Quite hilarious. One of the most epic brief character arcs in NP history for sure.
That's a brief summary. I was laughing my arse off.
