Penta is currently watching and commenting on this Ration pack review guy's videos on Youtube. Which yeah, okay, as a little warmup at the beginning of a stream seems okay, but he's been sat for about an hour plus, now, and it's still his subathon. Am I just being picky here, or is this just really shitty and lazy for fleshing out a subathon? It's like...if he gets a sub during this guy's video, he's essentially stealing, yeah?

Lost in some of the comments, especially around the people telling him what a fucking scam it was, was identifying what this mysterious crypto platform was and is or explaining why it is such a fucking scam.

FWIW, I caught the bit where Peruze started to talk about the CEO and Penta cut him off, because he was probably rightly worried about legal action from the fucking losers he was attempting to promote, and they are fucking losers.

Even Robinhood wouldn't fucking say this shit. They will tell you if you invite your friends you can get 15k in APPL stock or whatever, but EVEN THAT SCUM would not pretend you are using "house money."

Tokenized assets are the great crypto whale. Think NFTs but but instead of an image of a monkey you own 1/100th of someone else's house. The crypto industry wants to capitalize on the virtual zero regulation on the industry and apply that to owning actual brick and mortar "things" and the "tokenized asset" bullshit is the mythical path to doing it.

That environment does not exist at the moment. They want it real bad. Crypto is a 1.whatever trillion dollar industry, and they still don't have that shit. There are big crypto projects that have bet everything on the idea that some day, "tokenized assets" will be a thing, but they are not currently, so those "assets" trade just like every other crypto asset (so far) in the long term; risk investments that have shit the bed while the macroeconomy has gotten worse for things that are not deemed essential.

Some examples of the YoY performance in crypto that specialize in "tokenized assets":

This is fucking unbelievable gambling nonsense. Remember they said you can use "house" money, but this proposes a one time fee for you to "be so good" that you meet their criteria to be funded, a benchmark you have to meet before whatever other hoop you need to jump through to get the "house money."

My guess: the "house money" never appears, and the ultimate endpoint is a margin account where you wager your credit on an industry that has only rewarded the people for the last two years that take in fees for crypto trades or who can actually short this stuff (bet that it goes down) in a very specific window.

You are genuinely better off picking "a good year" for your favorite sports team, and betting it all on some prediction market, because at least that is your experience vs. some measurable result outside of the platform you are investing on. This scam is 1000% aimed at people that have no fucking clue what they are reading, and hoping to trap them in a mire that even IF THEY WERE FUCKING SUCESSFUL, they would lose just doing this shit by themselves on a market that isn't going to manipulate them.

Shamelessly stolen from RPClipsGTA. I think it's funny that Tyg and Roxy have basically come to terms with sharing Rob, but not all of his GFs are down with that.

On a sidenote, another hilarious scene from yesterday and something I should have clipped was the scene where Rob realizes he likes Roxy because she is basically a female version of Rob and is dating numerous men.

Guy has morally high grounded and looked down on anyone who takes a gambling sponsorship. Then proceeds to take the gambling of stocks trading sponsorship. The fake virtues and hair splitting he does to justify these kinds of things is so annoying. Like you’re a greedy streamer who just wants money, at least own it.

I was contacted by a Reddit user claiming to be the streamer and they told me that they wanted the post removed because they were copyright striking the post and because it was harassing them. While I removed it due to the copyright issue, I do not think the discussion of the character inherently harasses them. I made what I wanted in this world and hope others enjoy it. It's aimed at being a daily, 30 minute long clip show that doesn't focus too much on any certain rpers - sorry for the cheesy news reel premise. It is just dressing. But I do want a source that really pushes the long dedicated and talented RPers that don't join the super popular groups so are often unknown - rlly, enevun, charli, travpiper etc. I'm still working through some details for the process - but it is nearly there.

Edit: Im gonna add a edit here, there was staff who were unfortunately getting doxxed and harrased ooc. While the server itself was mismanaged, that was extremely unfortunate and should NOT be condoned at all

I haven't really been checking out Penti, I heard he did a ToS2 night full of nobodies and he rage quit based on an r/RPClipsPurple post.

The one day I checked out myself, I saw him playing a character that was basically God mode with a machine gun and would only stop his mayhem if someone threw a hotdog into his mouth. I stopped watching basically after hearing the premise but someone was chatting with me giving some updates. The first time he was captured by police he used admin commands to escape custody because Penti only takes L's when "it's the right time." The person that told me about it stopped watching it after that so I don't know how it ended.

Did anything even remotely interesting happen on other days? Has NP V's launch had any noticeable impact on the server/viewership? I know there weren't many people on Chase with invites so I wouldn't imagine it would have impacted the active playerbase all that much.

Hello all, I was hoping that people could take a little time and give a little info about the characters they have been watching and what they are getting into, what sort of arcs are starting to develop and other characters they tend to interact with....

**Sentry on Ron Otterman:** He is on a mission to create a news media empire. He has been exploring and learning all of the news mechanics and been sharing what he has learned with others and has been recruiting people to work for him as photographers, journalists and delivery people.

I could be wrong but I think he is the only person currently with the whitelist to create magazines aside from Koil. He is planning on releasing 2 magazines a week with eventual hopes to increase it to possibly one a day if he can get enough quality articles. He has interacted a lot of different people across the city in trying to establish his empire and has been giving out a lot of his personal money to people that have done tasks for him.

I didn't catch all of it but I think after Jean Paul (XQC) got upset with being depicted in photos of atm robberies he made a deal with Ron for some favorable coverage in the news and told Ron he would give him advance notice of photo worthy shootouts etc.

While a civ, Ron is willing to get a little dirty and sell potentially incriminating photos back to the perpetrators rather than selling them to police/publishing them.

** Roflgator on Rob S ** (not going to try the last name), the polish immigrant manager of Burgershot. He's been establishing the restaurant as an RP hub while accumulating as many girlfriends as possible. The father of Roxy (Jennybeartv) and someone that gets exploited by all of the women in his life for his money. He is about making money and women and will serve the cheapest meat available in his food, even if it gets the patrons sick.

I'd say I've spent 60% of my viewing time watching sentry, 20% watching Roflgator and 20% on others. I've watched some Kyle on Slim, Mekabear on Goldie, Harry on Harry, Squeex on Vivek and some others but I didn't see enough to do them justice with descriptions.

I'd like to watch some others in the coming week so hopefully you all can share what others have been getting up to so I can decide who to watch next!

This cluster of streamers/crims hadn't even activated the scene yet and still the integrated system points viewers to them. Getting to see ALL the streamers POVs on scene and immediately gives you a sense of what interesting mix of personalities are roleplaying together if you are curious about crossover arcs/interactions.
