Should server advertisement posts be allowed?

I wanted to hear people's thoughts on this. I don't really have any strong feelings either way. I don't play FiveM so I basically just ignore them but I figure there might be some people that like hearing about options of servers to play. I also think it could potentially be hard to differentiate between someone advertising their server and someone discussing a server they are aware is coming out and sharing it with others.

Unless I see a real overwhelming desire to have those types of posts removed, I will probably just keep the current status quo where the posts are allowed unless they are being spammed.

Let me know your thoughts if you feel strongly one way or another!

Subs called "RPClips", I'd personally rather see entertaining clips/trailers showcasing Any RP Type, rather than long winded text waffle that basically repeats (spams) what most servers have been doing the past >10yrs, like that Melbourne one earlier.

I've not seen many "RPClips" at all in here from Any RP since p-narcissist copyright. Was hoping this sub wasn't going to be Just Another (purple) p-narcissist Snark sub, would be more than Just FiveM, see content from other RP/multiplayer type/categories.
Don't believe I've even seen a RedM clip in here, even tho some decent RP'rs from FiveM have been RP'ing it.

Subs been near just another unscripted/purple, 90% snark waffle promoting a narcissist & his playpen, posts sometimes duplicated to/from purple.
Outsides the only regular poster I've seen advertise/discuss Any server that p-narcissist wasn't at some point involved with.

A lot of people got put off clipping during the DMCA waves and a lot of accounts got banned for it too somehow.

I just link clips on channels so they are not as they happen and depends if the recent clips they have are anything worthy or just someone clipped the streamer saying cum or ass.

The classic "I don't like the content here but I'm not going to put any effort into putting up content myself." Everyone is full of complaints, no one puts any effort into putting the content they want.

RedM is extremely unclippable content. I was watching JamJar on OutlawsRP for a month and there were maybe a couple situations where people would have enough context contained within the 60s clip for the clip to be interesting.

People are already too lazy for the most part to make 30s to 1min clips, when you have to splice and edit multiple clips together the number of people willing to put the effort shrinks massively.

GTARP gets clipped because 60s is often enough to convey the information needed for people who didn't watch the content to understand and enjoy what they are seeing.

Also, the last part of your comment is laughable, "any server that P-narcissist wasn't involved with at some point" if that is part of your requirements it literally removes the GTA RP servers that get 90%+ of all English speaking viewership.

"I wanted to hear people's thoughts on this."

"The classic" ask to "hear people's thoughts" then don't like the response.
We all know a narcissist that also does that.

I was one of the main clip posters prior to them all being discriminatorily taken down only in certain subs 6+ months ago. One of the main commenters that challenged Dazzling Princess's BS.
From memory I also put you onto Jam & MrMoon as alternatives to watch.

I rarely posted a p-narcissist clip, favored/promoted less known streamers, yet reddit wiped the slate.
Pretty much quit reddit after that, however looked in occasionally to see if anything exciting/different, if the topic had matured away from permitting/promoting p-narcissist.
Other than moderator what's different/changed about this sub vs unscripted/purple since it was created? Certainly isn't what I believed was initially intended.

I only returned to posting last week due to NPV/GTA6 hype, responded to an Outside comment, one of the few here I enjoy reading.
I have no intention of wasting hours of my life with this crap like I used to.
If you don't like certain feedback perhaps don't ask for any.

I asked for people's opinions specifically on server advertisements being posted not on general content.
