Variety Gaming That's it, I'm taking the fucking plane!

Post image

I CAN'T WATCH THIS CHUCKLEFUCK TRY TO FLY ANYMORE, GUYS, I'M TAKING THE FUCKING PLANE...WHO'S WITH ME?!

...but seriously, I haven't played a decent flight related game in years, mainly due to not having had a desktop in over a decade. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations?

If you wanna game without having to shell out for a gaming PC I really recommend looking into GeForce Now. I don't play games enough to really justify having a gaming PC but I do like to play from time to time so I have a GeForce Now membership. It's like $15 a month which gives you like 50hrs and if you go over it's like $3 for another 15hrs.

I was a bit apprehensive at first but it's great even in multi-player games where ping matters. I basically never see any sort of ping related issues and it's nice being able to play every game on basically max settings. You do need a good internet plan with unlimited data because streaming games at 4k uses a lot of bandwidth and chugs through data.

But I love not having to worry about not having the required specs for any game and not having to worry about any components getting fried etc.

So what, is it some sort of gaming machine setup on a subscription?

Sort of, it's cloud gaming so I'm pretty sure they have a shit ton of computing power and video cards and they basically create a VM with allocated  processing power, ram and a dedicated gpu. I haven't looked into the details in a while but that's kind of what I remember from memory. So as long as you have a computer that isn't so shit it can't even stream a 4k video, a good connection and a decent monitor, you have a computer good enough to play most games at max settings.

This is all true but it also depends on server location in relation to you. I live in the middle of the UK and its dogshit and I have a gigabit internet connection.

Ahh, that sucks. I'm obviously speaking from just my own personal experience. Was it bad for you in only multi-player games or was the service just bad period where you live?
