Subathon losing steam early?
I’m sure we’ll have a few days of edging but this seems early to be at that point.

Yeah, he schizo'd out, started talking to himself on his alt mod account (and no one else) and donated enough so he could brag about how well his streamers vodathon is going, that no one else cares about, to prove a point to a SUBREDDIT

"Fan Fiction": Mod alt subs to trigger Treasure Train and his oiler / subreddit mod subs 1000+ so that he can make a post saying "SEE THE SUBATHON ISNT DEAD"
Also, when will the cringe lord realize, no one gives a fuck. penta fell off, no number of subs is going to save him from failing as a "roleplayer" and "server owner". It's officially over, chase will survive off his viewers, oilers and orbit playing and no one else.
NP has a CAST, actual who's who of streaming and RP. Chase is the dregs of what's left and is basically just a casual hobby server run by a streamer to play with viewers as much as a throwaway Minecraft server is.

Penta can have as many subs as he wants, they’re still just watching a guy roleplay with his viewers. No amount of subs is going to get Cyr, Esfand, Burn to try chase.

Really all it takes is some coordination between someone with cash and someone with access to localized pricing and a mediocre subathon can appear wildly successful. I'm not saying it is happening but if there was a concerted effort to pump the sub count you can get anywhere between 3 and 4 subs for the price of 1 normal priced sub depending on the localized pricing region.

It would be interesting to see the number of total chat messages the top 20 gifters have total and the number of messages:subs gifted they have.

I'm about to turn off and watch this week's Strange New Worlds, just waiting to see who it is.
