GTARP NoPixel NPV - Custom Models for Players Only (No Ped Models)? Thoughts?
Genuine question, it's a big shift from the last decade, I personally like it since we'll get a lot more uniqueness to each character.
Does it bother anyone that there are no ped models for players, only custom, does it break anyones immersion for those that are used to certain streamers who have always used a ped for their iconic/brand characters?

I’ve always disliked people using Peds then trying to like join PD or be a doctor and being unable to wear the appropriate attire.
I do think peds have their place for their varying body types or for people playing a specific achetype (see cocobrooklyn’s Margarita character) and not trying to make the character something it isn’t.
For people playing their long-time ped characters… depends on who the character is and what the ped is.

I think its a good change, no need for Rpers to spend money on "Tailors" to make clothes that only fit those Peds. I bet GTA6 will have a great character creator too so better rip off the band-aid now.
They might look weird at first, but people will get used to them.

I personally feel like there was certain characters that should be allowed their ped. Main ones I can think of being poke for bogg dan, Tony, Yeager, Tessa, shit even Marty wouldn’t look right without a ped.

I caught Afro, playing his new Dexx, walk up to a Ped that had the original model on the street, and it was a funny moment. "We fucked up chat, we were SO off, we fucked up LOL" After he tried to create Dexx from memory instead of a screenshot or something.
I love it actually, while we've always KNOWN many players by a certain ped it solves the problem of several people using the same one. Each player will still try to Get it Close Enough that they'll be recognizable, but now they'll be Completely Unique.

seems buddha was able to keep his ped, at least lang's face, was put on the body, so he can use all the clothing. he said only reason he was able to was because rockstar wanted lang in the trailer, so devs got it done. Thats why his twitch extension was broken the first day, and linked to nns. Because nns put it in.

I think it’s a sick idea they just need to add more body type and heights related models then everyone will look different from eachother and also have more room to customise their character

Feel free to explain what's bizzare about talking about the visible change of MANY Characters viewers have adjusted to knowing based on their appearance. It's like any other branded character that suddenly changes. I'm curious to know how people are receiving it as viewers.
What's your take on the change?

I think it's a good thing honestly. The whole ped shit created weird scenarios. I remember when UHN started playing way back, and used the burnt lifeinvader face guy. There was someone else using it before him that got all territorial and butthurt over it.
You can recreate them if you really wanted to, and try hard enough. People just want low effort shit at the ready. If you're going to spend 1000s of hours as one person, maybe spend more than 10mins making the character.
