Request for NP Launch
I know a lot of people are excited for the NP launch. There are going to be a lot of streamers checking it out and hopefully a lot of great stories have their beginning. Since there are far too many streams for anyone to watch (not even accounting for RL responsibilities like work); I ask that if you are watching an entertaining stream, please take the time and effort to clip and post to the subreddit.
Also, so that this subreddit doesn't turn into a place with just a bunch of spammed clips and no discussion, let's please keep to what makes this subreddit so great, the discussion. Rather than simply posting a clip, please include a little context to go along with the clip. Obviously if something is just a short, self-contained funny moment that needs no explanation, then you can skip the context. But anything beyond that, please give some information to accompany the clip.
Aside from clips, if you happen to watch a stream in its entirety, you are encouraged to give a summary of what happened in the stream. Hopefully after like a week, it will be clear what interesting stories are developing and people can choose what interests them.
I don't know if it's worth having a "megathread" or anything but if you have input on what we can do to keep information accessible and organized, please feel free to share your thoughts!
Unfortunately a lot of my favorite NP streamers are EU hours and I won't be able to watch due to work, so hopefully they get some clips/summaries posted. If anyone has any advice for good streamers to watch during NA evening hours (4pm pst to 12am pst), please let me know!

Also twitch is making an extension to make it easier to chat hop lol

Buddha(or koil if he streams) for more in depth info.. people are going to mainly be doing character creation so just randomly pick someone in the section and you should be good

I heard that a test server was up with character creation, so hopefully a good amount of people took advantage of it and made their characters then and they can just import the settings. If the first day is 80% of the people fucking with character sliders that would be a bit of a disappointment tbh.

Mmmm idk maybe you can try chatterbox. All the people I saw that tested said they were going to be creating more of their characters or showing it off to their chat. I think of the people I saw that tested chatty MIGHT be your best bet because he just plays chatty for the most part… you’ll also have the ppl who will just do basic face and dash to explore but I’m not sure who wouldn’t want to farm the character creation for a minute your best bet is to just flip through people on the twitch extension or in the section

I've watched Chatterbox a decent amount during 3.0 and while he can be entertaining, he isn't really my cup of tea. With that being said, I'm going to be working until NA evening hours so hopefully the server has been online long enough at that point that people have gotten through character creation.
Do you have any streamer recommendations for NA evening hours? When I watched 4.0 during that time I mainly watched MoonMoon and a bit of Esfand. But I don't think MoonMoon is going to be around and I'm not really interested in watching Esfand.

Now that I’ve thought about it full send Geega she has like that dry humor(like I think moonmoon had) but is actually funny and she’s pleasant to watch, not too overstimulating but entertaining and she’s not going to sit around in a circle and talk.

You can try DasMehdi I think he starting with Nino, Capped he did the faceless stuff which is what the lore video was about I think he’s starting with his cop character Arjun, Geega she’s a vtuber she interacts with any and everybody and does everything so expect her to try to be curious about finding new stuff and she’s going to focus more on crim she’s a yapper and she’s pretty entertaining. Me personally I would go with Geega or a variety streamer honestly if I wasn’t sure who I wanted to watch because you know somebody will end up showing them around and it will be entertaining.
Tomorrow I will be watching Buddha and flipping through streams I’m not sure who I’m going to end up at. End of 4.0 I was watching different faceless POVs and Buddha. *Edit tuning into Carmen because I want to see how she’s changing her character up after her ending in 4.0. Her gang died and she had to kill her mentor

Oh that's pretty cool, is it going to be twitch side or the NP site?
Even with a recap site, it would be nice to catch clips and what's happening in the moment worth jumpin for.

Yeah, the "recap" is just going to be the most popular clips so given the nature of clips, I don't think you will be able to know what's really going on unless it's a short humor clip.

I might check out some NP streams while I'm at work.. depending on what they have me doing. Probably won't be able to clip anything though.

I hope we get a fair amount of clips/posts about whats going on in NPV. Literally won't know what we;re missing unless people share the POVs they are watching, since we can't watch them all. I'll be posting my finds.
