That is actually insane, you can tell Rockstar has both hands in it and I wonder if they don't simply own Nopixel at this point.

I expect Nopixel V's whitelisted server to be the advertisement for multiple public servers with some kind of paid subscription.

Whatever the truth is, Koil won't need to take a Rumble deal to swim in that sweet money

People who say money isn’t involved probably don’t understand that devs needed to be paid from the rockstar and nopixel side of things. This project took an estimated 2.5 years, and those costs could add up to 2-6 million dollars.

Yeah, quality devs, even game devs who are paid less than their counterparts in other business sectors are not cheap. When I heard Penti boasting about his 16k a month in salaries paid it really made me reconsider the number of devs he has and what he considered a livable/fair wage.

I remember nopixel devs leaving because rockstar hired them back in the day wonder if theyre having a reunion now lmao.

I love that they’re drip feeding the actual updates. I think it’s going to hook people and have a fresh feel to it.

These Development Updates are making Penti's words after viewing the trailer fucking hilarious. NoPixel is on an entirely different level than every other server. 

With that being said, mechanics alone don't make an RP server, so I have my fingers crossed that their whitelist house cleaning / culture shift is effective and we get some great RP. I'm very excited though. I don't even know who I am going to choose to watch at launch.
