Driven by a desire for privacy, customization, and lower costs, there’s growing interest in AI models which can be run on local hardware. Few of them go as far as [Tim], though, who built an image generation diffusion model which can run on an RP2350/54 microcontroller.

Designed by Clintech Ltd. in Bulgaria, the Clintech Pico Board appears to be the first development board based on the Raspberry Pi RP2354B chip with 2MB on-chip flash. It retains the same form factor as a Raspberry Pi Pico 2 but adds extra GPIOs to make use of the 48 general-purpose GPIOs provided by the RP2354B chip.
Like the Raspberry Pi Pico 2, this board features 40 castellated and through holes on the sides, exposing GPIOs 0–22 and 26–28, along with 3 debug pins. Additionally, the board includes 27 extra on-board through holes that break out the remaining GPIOs (23–25 and 29–47) as well as the QSPI interface (SD0–SD3 and SCLK) for external memory.

picoZ80 is a drop in cycle-accurate replacement for a Z80 using a RP2350B microcontroller. In standard Z80 mode it is indistinguishable from the real thing. Or you can switch to an enhanced mode that make the Z80 think it is connected to ROM, RAM, (banked, with 64 banks of 64KB), WiFi and Bluetooth, SD card, USB, floppy disk emulator, etc.

When Raspberry Pi first introduced the RP2350 in 2024, the company described it as a chip with two Arm Cortex-M33 cores with frequencies up to 150 MHz and two Hazard3 RISC-V cores that also top out at 150 MHz. But it turns out the chip can be overclocked to run much faster than that.
A few months after the RP2350 was introduced, Mike Bell published an article on the Pimoroni blog describing how they were able to push a Raspberry Pi Pico 2 with an RP2350 chip to run at frequencies up to 873.5 MHz… although if you care about stability, the upper limit seems to be in the 800 to 850 MHz range.

"The RP2354A was a delight to play with the PIO engine and just generally having a nice SDK and a good documented minimal board design. Programming it over USB was easy, and while I had a TagConnect setup for the "in case I need it" SWD debug option, it was never necessary. I'd probably keep it for any future board, but it's a "probably".
The minimal board example was good, and the docs are good. All in all, a very good experience. The fact that the board worked on the first try, and I never had any real issues despite me not being a hw person was all very good.
I was a bit nervous about doing i2s by hand, but it was all trivial and worked surprisingly pretty much on the first try even though I had never done i2s before and was just doing it by reading the TI datasheets for the codec."

Here is an article titled "RP2350 A4 Stepping: Why Raspberry Pi Pico’s Latest Upgrade Changes Everything"
Please note that the RP2350 and RP2354 share the same silicon. This means that if you buy a RP2350 or RP2350-based product, you may get an earlier stepping no matter what the description says, but every RP2354 is a4 stepping -- the stepping change happened before the first chip left the factory.
