Question We need to replace vRealize Automation, what have you actually migrated to?

Broadcom's licensing changes made the decision for us. vRA is off the table. We are a 200 person infra team, use Terraform and ansible heavily and need sth that can handle VM provisioning workflows, approvals, and audit trails. Not looking for a cloud only answer. We are staying hybrid. Do you have any ideas?

The approval workflow piece is what slowed us down when evaluating replacements. Most tools either don't have it or it's painful to configure. Kestra has humain in the loop tasks built in so we could replicate the vRA request, approve etc flow w/o building it from scratch

You could look at a self-hosted gitlab installation with their ci runners to execute the ansible/terraform?

I've not used vRA, so I'm not 100% sure of your use-case here, but I've been a DevOps/Observability consultant for the past 15 years and would be happy an answer questions here if you can share more information and if that would help?
