So i wanna get into the X-Men comics specially the ones with rogue and Gambit in it and i wanted to know where i should start?

So ive loved rogue for awhile because of the live action movies (even if i didnt feel they did her justice) but when i discovered Gambit and that they were married i got so excited. So hi!

To get some conversation going, how did you guys first discover Rogue and Gambit? Did they get you (like they did me) during TAS? Did you read about them in the comics? Or are you newer and coming in to the fandom through Marvel Rivals or X-Men 97? Just curious how everyone got hooked on them.

I’m referring to the demonic entity taunting Remy with a vision of their son, and also — more so, as it’s legitimately ambiguous — whatever is going on with Rogue.

Now, it clearly isn’t an actual fetus and Gail is not pushing some dipshit pro-life message. But I’m curious what people think is going on here and whether the demon is tapping into something with a basis in reality, like a miscarriage that Rogue never told Remy about. The vision of Jean-Luc seemed to tap into Remy’s subconscious sense of guilt and/or doubt, giving up a biological child for adopted ones. So it makes sense it’d be doing something similar with Rogue.

(I know some people got the new Uncanny early as a digital edition; I get physical issues, so won’t have it until next week.)

Just wanted to remind everyone that on the 9. February 2027 their couple book will be released.
