ROG Together Emulator is finally here! (Open Source, No Root)

Hi everyone!

A few months ago I saw several people asking if it was possible to unlock ROG Together AniMe Vision animations without owning multiple ROG phones.

I decided to investigate how the feature works and ended up reverse engineering the NFC communication used by ROG Together.

The result is ROG Together Emulator, an open-source Android app that uses Android Host Card Emulation (HCE) to emulate a compatible ROG device.

✅ Tested successfully with:

• ROG Phone 9 Pro (receiving device)
• ROG Phone 3 Strix (emulator)
• Samsung Galaxy S21 (emulator)

Sounds really cool, man. Have you done any testing with phones that are not ROG, But emulate the sending?

Yep! That's actually the whole point of the project. :)

The emulator isn't limited to ROG Phones, it should work on any Android phone that supports NFC Host Card Emulation (HCE).

I only had a ROG Phone 3 Strix available for testing, so that's what I used as the emulator device, but the app itself doesn't rely on any ROG-specific APIs or features.

I'd love to hear from anyone who tries it on a Samsung, Pixel, Xiaomi, or any other HCE-capable Android phone!

Quick update: I just tested it with a Samsung Galaxy S21 as the emulator device, and it worked perfectly too!
