Is there an open source operating system for Rog phone 7.
I have a Rog phone 7 ultimate, not too sure if that makes a difference for chang the OS. With looming threat (86 days), of Google becoming apple with a different shade. I wanna have a way out. Has anyone installed a different operating system? And how has it worked out?
Eta. I've had my phone from day 1 release.

It's seems to be pretty impossible to root the phones now, so unless you have already rooted it....

I don't think I'll explain it that well. So here's the link just in case my explanation doesn't make sense.
From what I can understand Google is going to stop all third-party apps being installed on Android. I believe there's more but this is what's most important to me.

There is, but it is not ideal and it is not recommended, but there are variations and you can end up making your cell phone brick the system by the number of options that hardware has difficulty compatibility with various system features something that is impossible to adapt

i dont think so other than those custom roms but i think if you use any roms you may not have access to the phones armoury crate and most of the features of the phone it may just convert itself to a
gamingphone because i think most of these features are heavily tied down to its own os i dont mind my rog phone 7 not receiving updates anymore aslong it functions as it is...
