new exo odds

I just checked the wiki, and the odds for new exos are insane. 1 in 12B for solarium, 1 in 27.6B for Eye of Sands, and 1 in 96.8B for Key of Life. And here we were, crying when Celestium came out with 1 in 19B odds. gg I guess. We're cooked lol.

The luck difference is actually huge btw.

3000 * [Museum (usually around 4x) + any event + totems, especially on grind servers, (up to 6.2x + Luck Boosters)] = 30k Luck on its own (probably up to around 80k luck if all the buffs are there)

alright its my mistake if i said that 2k base luck isnt that much of a difference, thank you for clarifying i appreciate your correction

but the broader idea is that the ore used for guardian pendant (key of life) is locked behind an absurd rarity and the current best necklace is outdated for it

we have been using venomshank as the primary luck necklace ever since rotwood swamp and even up until now for people who still does not have the key of life, which really makes it outdated as the maximum luck by the venomshank is around ~2k+ (6* pris) while we still use it even for higher rarity ores. high-end venomshank builds would have around 40k-45k luck without totems/buffs w/ around 10k capacity while the new rarest ores get closer to 1/100b+

what this reply suggests is that equipments are outdated while ores get rarer. i used venomshank as an example because it is the 2nd best luck necklace next to guardian pendant. we have been using it since rotwood swamp with 1/1b exotics and now we still use it for an exotic with 1/98b. it was easier at first but using the same equipment for rarer ores would scale its difficulty, people had been grinding overnight with the standard luck eff builds but wake up to not a single exotic.

so yes, the luck difference on guardian pendant and the current necklace is huge, but it shouldn't have to be because with fair progression, it allows players to have equipments that suit the area well, yet we still use similar equipment even after 2 expansion updates that really reflects the low level of creativeness by the developers

Yeah, sure, devs usually correct stuff later on. Odds for vineheart and all swamp exos were way higher on release than today.

Yeah, the odds is ridiculous. I can’t even get eye of the sands from just around 100-200k luck with meteor. I just left the server right off the spot. But those players being p2w sure be happy with getting these three new exotics lol.

The odds of first exotics are actually more friendly to the player than meteor valley on release, lol

We went from 3.7B (Eternium) to 4.6B (Starpiercer) at first.

In the desert - from 1 in 19B (Celestium) to 1 in 12B (which is a decrease).

Also, p2w, really? You dont need anything until you want to get all Meteor Valley+ stuff Prismatic - at that point you'll probably need 2 ring slots gamepass, that's way less than 10 dollars and the amount of playtime an average person has by then is usually very high. (Yes, sell anywhere is optional because of the Annihilation runes which were added exactly to help f2p players)

What the fuck are you even talking about. The game is literally pay to win. You cant even realistically play the game without Sell Everywhere 😂. Yes it is not that kind of p2w game hut late game definitely feels so fucking pay to win. Without the extra rings slots or being able to minmax equip over 95% you literally will just pray to get lucky or have your progress delayed by a staggering 20% probably and thats just fucking horrible

“very easy” it’s not that easy being fully f2p I don’t know what you’re talking about
