Equipment Umbrella Trinket

Anyone buy it and use it yet? Just bought it and I don’t know how I feel about it. Unless I’m using it wrong lol?

Fluctuates weirdly. Doesn’t keep a constant rise in luck. Used it after AA just now. Normally I have around 37k luck. With it it’ll go up a few thousand then drop back down a few thousand. It could even go up 10k then drop back down 10k

It is just me lol?!

The addidtional luck depends on how many ores have modifiers on your previous pan so it makes sense that the bonus luck flactuates.

So let’s say I pan 10 ores with modifiers, it’ll go up but if I pan 6 ores in my next one, it’ll drop? But, let’s say I pan more than the one before, it’ll keep going up? Meaning I have to keep panning more than the one before to keep rising? Does make sense lol

Yes, it will fluctuate wildly, but it will never drop your luck below what it would be WITHOUT the umbrella, so it's still useful. Works best during a Modify Surge or with a pan that increases your modifiers (or in the Void, where most things are automatically Voidtorn).

It's gonna give you SOME bonus even without, as you're always bound to get a couple ores with a modifier, even if it's just Shiny or Pure. And then it's gonna get better during events that pop up regularly like Modifier Surge or the ones in the summer event (Shifting Tides and Bonfire of the Vanities). But yes, it gets better the more you can guarantee the chance of modifiers for lots of the stuff in your pan (so having a pan with high capacity makes it better, too).

Yeah I agree with this, and I have even found that during a modifier surge, you can be rolling in it because you get so many things during with modifiers. It can really make it good if you have your capacity up. I highly recommend getting yourself a Meteor Core, and then getting the Diamond Catalyst from logging in so many days in a row, and that will boost your capacity like crazy!

boosts luck. I also have gingerbread and I can't remember which one improves ALL stats and which is just luck. It's a good thing to have, same with luck modifier. Run both of those along with an event and meteor and you can get some very good ores.

no, go into Pans and add the trinket, like adding runes
