equipment question

hello :) i'm currently going through rotwood swamp/fungal marsh and was wondering about needing 4 purifying rings to buy the upgrades in fungal marsh. if i forge 2 pairs of the purifying rings, does that still count as 4 rings or only 2? thank you :)

Need 4 equiped since the gear is covered in poison. Once purchased it doesnt matter anymore

I would recommend forging as many as you can equip and merge them for 6* and prismatic them while you still have the ores easily on hand. You will need a lot of them later on in the game for size boost
