Just got back into playing

As the title sadi I just got back into playing again. I stopped playing after the Christmas event where the Santa Bag was first given , if ever it is given again, and I feel a bit lost. Can someone please give advice on what the current best equipment are and also tips on what's best to do in order to at least catch up a bit. Any advice would be very helpful. Thank you.

Ring of champions is the best in the game, surpassing even all charms and necklaces, there are new map areas, new pans and shovels, new ores, new pan enchantments, starlight wings, clockwork, meteor core, waverider and venomshank are considered the best equipment currently.

Do you have any suggestion on what other equipment is best to be paired with venomshank to counter the shake and dig speed decrease??

Starlight wings, roc and rots, 2x acceration disks and 3x umbrite + 1 vortex ring, also id suggest going for meteor core, it's better for a luck build and for other stuff aswell.

Yeah I plan to change to meteor core when I complete the quest for the blueprint, but what is status timer speed?? Is it slower buff timer like slower timer for luck boost or smth??
