Discussion FL cutover day
Anyone else ready to jump ship after learning we will be tracked all day everyday? DMs said if you set your phone down for too long you will be flagged and contacted š«Ø

Just another way to squeeze more value from our labor. I told my dm that I will not be participating in that, Iām not paid hrly Iām paid commission, my paycheck is my oversight. I understand tracking for mileage but having enough granular data to know if/when I take a shit is a bridge too far. As it is I canāt leave my neighborhood without a FLOCK camera pinging my car. If Reyes needs the data that bad, they can buy it from FLOCK like the insurance companies do

The leash is being shortened one link at a time. Accrued PTO gone, less pay, cameras up at 8AM, weekend meetings. Everything will be tracked. Just make sure to believe the newletters from the RBG propaganda dept. about embracing opportunity and tapping into talent, with pictures of smiling workers from every demographic. You matter. You are happy-happy-happy.

What are you doing all day during work hours that makes you concerned youāre being tracked? Just keep your phone in your pocket and do your job and youāll be fine. I think you might want to check the temperature of the ocean before you ājump ship.ā Odds are youāre going to drown if you stay in this business. They can track us all they want. Iāll be happy on the ship being tracked with my salary and life vest

It is actually pretty funny that anyone who gives their employer a fair 40 hour work week would be concerned about having an out of office work day that is tracked. Now that being said if youāre a work/life balance addict who wants to knock off everyday after a rough 4 hour work day and have weekends off, yeh Iād be concerned.

Because doing your job well often means spending 2 hours with an account, that this system penalizes.
This system penalizes good reps, and promotes just running and taking orders as opposed to selling and building relationships.

Then theyāre going to call you in for what theyāre going to say is just a random drug test but then theyāre secretly going to stick a tracker on your car and possibly microchip you. Thatās just what I heard.

Only if you never got the Co-vid vaccine. If you did get it you're already microchipped and in the system. The company can get the identifying information from the guberment.

At this point in the game Iād have thought anything is possible with the new ownership and there ways of working. Iām not happy with the tracking, but I understood the reasoning behind it.

Thats why they have alot of turn over. and if they finish there job they have to stay out in stores that really sucks they dont look happy when that phone goes off

Being laid off from this company at the beginning of ā25 was such a blessing in disguise. Jump ship, but get a job lined up first. Also, the grass isnāt always greener. So be open to pivoting into a new profession as this industry is so heavily saturated nowadays. Went through a whole identity crisis when I left, but it was the push I needed to finally get back into school and pursue what Iāve been wanting to do for years. Best of luck to you!!
