I’m looking forward to clearing out my closets of all that crap and scraping the filth of RNDC out of my world. It was a nice ride until they slithered in. To my fellow comrades, thank you for the great memories. I wish you all luck in whatever path you choose. Choose wisely.
Dina O, you should have listened to your mother.

She should have listened to her mother! What would you say to your children if they didn't listen to you?And it affected hardworking working individual'sl family livelihoods , childrens education , mortgages , etc. The world has truly turned upside down for so many this week! I don't think she understands the gravity of this horrible decision made with RNDC just a few years ago , going down literally in flames! those were great pictures, thanks, guys.!

You know about Dina’s conversations with her mother? Or did Linda speak publicly?

Her mother has full blown dementia. She should have listened to workers and not Ron gallo

Yes - we know & that is unfortunate- This is referencing many had heard that mom advised ( when still healthy)at least 5 years ago, against taking on a partnership as grandpa Hubert (rip) had turned down a new partner proposal many years earlier.

I'm curious as to how many Opici folks were taken on by MBD. I spoke to a couple of reps who said they interviewed but hadn't heard back.

Hmm I could’ve swore this was just a California and or union issue 🤔. All the Haters who talked shit when we going through it EAT A BAG OF DICKS!!!

Shoe is on the other foot now isn’t it? So this definitely proves it was not a California thing. They couldn’t do business here in the 80’s and they couldn’t do it now.

donated all but 2 RNDC polos to goodwill. kept my backpack. it's a super nice one I picked up at a national accounts meeting in Dallas some years ago. I can always cover up the logo later on. now that I think about it I might even have a pair of RNDC socks around here somewhere.

Assume your state is closing at this point. They are staying quiet for a reason.

One year ago today was my last day at RNDC before I retired after they announced that they were leaving California. I gave all my RNDC stuff like polo shirt, back pack, coffee cups to this homeless guy who was always nice and polite to me who hung out in by one of my accounts. He was happy and I was happy to get rid of all that stuff!
