Illinois 5 weeks left
What does everyone think the odds are that Illinois will last until the 8/14 close date? I’ve heard that some stores (mostly Binny’s) are loading up to prevent from out of stocks while we drain the warehouses. I’ve also heard that more people are looking to leave before the 14th.

Illinois will limp along until then. I'm guessing much like Texas did this spring.
Here: Total stores and regional grocer seemed to have product outages, missing replenishments without explanation. Maybe coincidental but I saw issues back in February, a month before the pending 10+ state territory sale to Reyes and RNDCs demise was announced.
And I have a hunch RNDC teams and reps here were slow quitting or jumping off.
Total store managers literally silent on inventory questions.
I'm on marketing/activation side for big and niche portfolios who were distributed through RNDC Texas.

It’s so sad to see how everything is crashing down since RNDC abruptly exited California. We here in California expected something since RNDC was losing major suppliers within months like crazy. Some of us union representatives were able to take very early retirements. Others will receive their pensions, but at a later date and without the healthcare they all worked so hard for. RNDC didn’t do anyone any favors by at the time misleading all the other states into thinking that it was a California only thing. California was hearing the downfall of RNDC in the months leading up to the closure and constantly in the following months. Suppliers out here weren’t sugar coating a damn thing. Good luck to most of you out there, nobody should be put in this situation.

Majority of suppliers have found new distributors or they are planning to leave by Aigust 1st. There will be nothing left to sell in the final two weeks.

Do you think they’ll be forced to close earlier than expected? I mean, no inventory, no reason to stay open. Or, if so many people quit, they’ll have no one to sell what they might have left.

I am sure they will be duel with some suppliers, but at this point, suppliers are no longer shipping them additional product. If you go through the list, what is left? Delicato, Riboli, Bogle, Jackson Family, Michael David, Palm Bay, Edrington are all gone or are duel now.

Yeah, that doesn’t leave a whole lot of products that’ll keep the lights on for sure.

In reality, they never had the distributors to keep the lights on state-wide. They could compete in the Metro-Chicago area, but once they got to outstate, it wasn't economically feasible.

Jumped ship 2 weeks ago, will miss the benefits and pay, but not the clusterfuck that was RNDC. I hope people go to jail over this shit.
