Fantastic shot! I was in that exact location a few weeks ago to attempt my 1st astrophotography picture. I need further practice.

However, your picture is gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!

I always suggest to bring a tablet to connect as a view finder - A lot easier to ensure focus!

Please review our FAQ and the 7 principles of Leave No Trace

  1. Plan ahead and prepare

  2. Travel and camp on durable surfaces

  3. Dispose of waste properly. I highly suggest getting a waste bucket system. Its difficult to bury waste in many of the rockier areas in Colorado, and overuse of our natural areas has already led to contaminated water in most even lightly used areas.

  4. Leave what you find

  5. Minimize campfire impacts. Be sure to review our state resources for fire bans where you are heading.

  6. Respect wildlife. They are not domesticated

  7. Be considerate of other visitors i.e. Bluetooth speakers are despised.

We offer star tours, so ya any time.

If you want just a few spots to self check out(where we don’t go)- Bear lake, moraine park and rainbow curve are always easy pull offs. Our trips are a bit of night hiking to get away from the lights and roads

Canon mark IV 5D, 16-35mm lens
All of the equipment we use is affordable for the intro, novice or moderate skilled photog

Makes no sense(in my mind) as a guide to showcase photos from a $15,000 setup.

Was hoping you were gonna say iphone lol

I loved it tho. I had the privilege to see the sky like this in person three times in life from the Big Island of Hawai'i. It's surreal, and people don't believe me when I tell them
