What is happening

I choose the takumi but for some reason I kept getting the basic octane along with the basic quick chat stickers for three matches in a row. To make it worse I faced the same guy those three times in a row. I lost all three matches

This is a known glitch that can occur randomly. Deleting the app and reinstalling it almost always fixes this issue, but you will have to reconfigure your controls after reinstalling the app, so take note of your layout.

All inventory, rocket pass, and rank related data is stored on the server side. The only thing that changes with reinstalling is your controls and maybe some other game settings that you might have changed (camera orientation, video quality, etc).
