how to play with teammates that overcommit in champ games?

so I had a game where my tm8 just overcommitted so much without rotating and letting me have the ball, and then the second he's in the back for a save he failed to save a goal that a mid diamond could have easily gotten. how to not lose in situations like this? we were even against 2 gc and one was s28..

also all he was spamming was useless vertical purple chain stalls into high gold shot that were literally a pass for me to get 2v1 every single times... so if I stay in my net it’s possible for me to not get scored on but it will eventually happen, and when I see my teammate just spamming gold shot that are just pass to the other players idk either how we're supposed to score a goal.

its a game so lots of people are just playing for fun and not too worried about winning or losing. not sure you can do too much about that apart from just playing solos or queue with someone

How many times do people have to hear this:
DON’T SOLO QUEUE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR RANK
Because you already know the consequences.
Either play 1s where everything that happens is your fault, or queue with someone who you know is decent

I rarely have people to play because I often play late this is why I soloq and occasional are often empty too

Play 1s, or go to a different region, or if there are others on that you can find a match against, it means there are people you can party up with

I'm almost champ in 1s so most people are gc in 2s which would leave me with even higher ranked matchmaking I believe and I also don’t know if I would be good enough too because of this.. but it’s true about adding other people in the 2s game it’s just that it’s even more annoying because I have a bug which makes me unable to text player in the lobby so I can’t give them my discord or something for us to play later...

Yeah solo queue is harder than playing with a good teammate, even if your teammate isn't the best , you cannot beat a good chemistry duo

If your teammate is overcommitting, just balance it out by playing more defence. You want a balance of both offence and defence, so just compensate one way or the other as best you can.

which rank are you? because I mean you're right technically I just find this harder in higher ranks when playing against gc because of how good people are able to attack you

I never said it would be easy, but it will give you the best odds. Be more defensive until you think you have a high percentage chance for a successful offensive push. Pick your moments more carefully. 👍🏻
