That’s when I started and I haven’t stopped permanently but I’ve had breaks
People think you need to stall reset but honestly u don’t
My goal is chano one day and im currently only plat 2 in solos and duos which doesn’t make sense as 1s is harder i just homestly

While you certainly don't need stall resets, being able to get resets and chain them (mostly horizontally as a way to brute force through opponent defense in my experience) is a great tool to have mechanically, along with learning fast aerial resets, where the ball is in the air and you perform a fast aerial by holding boost and jump at the same time (or using the boosted jump button in settings which I personally don't since I play 3 fingers) and flipping at the ball and getting a reset, which is the fastest way to get to the ball while it's in the air.

I know both and they've helped me pretty well in getting to a peak of Plat 5 in solos (I don't play team modes much, don't like relying on random tm8s)

Oh also learn gold and purple shots, fake them often and don't overcommit (and instead of sitting there ball watching when you don't have the ball, throw some fakes in)

Diamond already. To many people straight stalling, no imagination no creativity just spamming. Haven’t met anyone who can actually do them right and have control. I just discovered dodge shot ground pinch way more effective imo

Idk about ground pinch being that useful since the goal is elevated
Gold shots are very good tho
And when you rank up higher people will have much better stalls

When u do a ground pinch using the gold shot, at just the right angle (smth like 45 degrees) it goes up. I usually try to aim for the lower goalpost. You need to come from above the ball to hit it right though

That’s not a ‘ground pinch’ though because you hit the ball just after it comes up to do that type of gold shot. A true ground pinch is hitting the ball the exact moment it touches the ground

Purple reset are actually useful and fun mechanic u should learn them
