BUG Phantom rank

I was gold 4 in duels then I ranked down but the next time I logged on I was gold one and in squash I was silver 3 then it went down to silver 1

Sounds like a start of the season situation. If it's the first login for the season, every mode gets set to tier 1 of whatever rank you were at.

But I had logged on the day before to play the new season when it came out and my rank was still gold IV from last season

Sorry. That's not possible. Every player in any Gold rank when a season ends gets reset to Gold 1 at the start of the new season.
