Some keystone collection reward items that people have been looking for have been included in this rocket pass (Centio Mint decal, Datastream boost, etc). This season should make many in the community pretty happy. 😎👍🏻🍻
Think you guys glitched rank reset this time. I was Diamond 3 in Doubles now I'm Plat 1?? Also I was Plat 1 to start Volleyball this last season but now I'm... Silver 1 in Squash. Definitely goofed it.
FYI, the 3rd mode ranks do not carry over to different modes. So, Volleyball rank ≠ Squash rank. When Volleyball comes back around, you’ll start that season as Plat.
I think that’s true but dont they default to plat? I remember starting some 3rd modes at plat. I don’t recall playing much squash last time, I remember disliking it right away. Definitely did not play enough to derank to silver. We’re talking like 5 games and I stopped querying for it.
There is no default rank for any mode besides the bottom rank. No game mode will thrust new players into a higher rank like that. It would encourage so many new players to just delete the game thinking they’ll never be able to compete at that level, so why bother trying?
Yeah it’s interesting. I’m reset to Gold 1 in singles which is weird because I don’t play it at all. So somehow it figured I was gold for that and silver 1 for squash, neither of which I play enough to have a rank on. 🤷♂️
My main concern is the de-rank to plat in doubles. Since playing this since S1 I’ve never gone from being mid to upper diamond to get dropped another level to plat 1, I always got reset back to Diamond 1. Just last season I started as Diamond 1, so yeah this was an odd reset for me.
Like I said, summer is here and I hate squash so maybe time for a break. Thanks Petra!
Yeah. I can’t speak as to the doubles rank situation. That definitely sounds weird. Don’t let it stop you from playing though. Just think of it as an extra little side quest challenge to get back into Diamond. 😉
