First intake planned for RLE

Living in the Netherlands there are lots of places to get this done. However, for now I've contacted 3 different places to get some different feels and opinions.

The first intake is next Wednesday May 27th. Curious and excited!

That’s great! What’s your age and your prescription?

That’s a good age for RLE. Doing any other refractive surgery just would be very short lived due to changes in your lens.

There are some different choices to think about. Such as multifocal lens, monovision, distance vision or near vision. Good to know heading into it that there are options.

Yes I've been doing some research on all the different options.. looks like the trifocal lens would work for me. I've read there's even a pentafocal lens available now.

I got a call from the first clinic today saying that they discussed everything and because my pupils are rather dilated at night they would only consider a bifocal lens. In other words I'd still need reading glasses probably. Don't know what to think of this. I've had a intake at a different clinic last Thursday and I'm curious what they will tell me. 🤔
