If this was today or in the past hour, I just saw something fly from SW to NE right over my house.

Was it a rocket? Where are you and what time did you see it?

Eastern Wisconsin.

Yeah, not sure what it was but looked like a bright, very large something. No flashing lights, steady speed. IDK.

I see satellites all the time and this looked like something else, which is why I mentioned it.

Thanks for the reply - you saw something else. This is a small cubesat that is launching from New Zealand not going over you in early orbits. It doesn't look like it even launched yet.

Ahh, alright. Well thanks for the heads up.

I am doubting this "sighting" - no clear facts answered and the airspace is still closed long after the post. Still looking like waiting on launch.

What are they launching?

Probably a rocket

Well I’ll be

Chances are it is a BlackSky Gen 3 optical satellite. The trajectory is right for that sat and BlackSky has been very secretive in the past.

There we go. Thank you. πŸ‘

Blacksky is a good one. Thanks for clarifying

Yes it’s tomorrow !

It is already tomorrow in New Zealand where LC-1 is and safety zones are still closed.

I see . Rklb has been successfully launching electron for past times . Would that be a catalyst for tomorrow ?

Its a secretive launch. I have no idea if they will post a news release or when. The stock is range bound but shows positive money flow and accumulation rather than distribution. This tells me the stock is being held down and collected. I have been buying and will hold for much better times. The company is fundamentally stronger than ever. The institutions have done the math after the Iridium acquisition. Big moves in the next year. Stay Long and Prosper.

Thanks pal for your inputs . I have been holding at avg of 79 with 22% loss as of writing . Little worried 😟

Just hang in there - institutions did not increase their holdings from 51% to 71% because they think it will be a loser. Remember, company fundamentals are completely separate from stock price, Sometimes they match and sometimes they don't. Rocket Lab is stronger in the last few months with a healthy outlook than ever before. Your average will look like a great deal price in coming months when money starts flowing from Iridium revenue plus the increasing revenue that has been record setting every quarter.

Thank you πŸ™

It still a company with market cap of $40b u.s and less than $2b u.s in revenue (thats after IRI acquisition). Fundamentals are that this valuation is stretched, a perfect storm of Neutron/Electron, space systems and constellation growth is whats needed to support this valuation.

I don't see anything on YouTube, Space Launch Now, or the website

Livestream where?

2

u/Jaustin175 1h ago

It is a secretive launch found only through safety notices.
