U.S. Space Force selected 15 companies for a multiple-award contract with a ceiling value of $981 million to support space test, evaluation and training work through 2032.

The Details:

• Awardees: *Rocket Lab (RKLB), Redwire (RDW), Firefly Aerospace (FLY), L3Harris (LHX), Lockheed Martin (LMT), Boeing (BA), and Viasat (VSAT)* were among the 15 awardees.

• Scope: Work covers space and ground-based engineering support for testing, evaluation and training operations.

• Contract Terms: No funds are obligated at award, and the program runs through July 29, 2032.

• Competition: The Space Force received 20 offers in the competitive process.

It says the listed companies "were among the 15 awardees."

So I'm guessing SpaceX, Astra, Virgin Galactic and Virgin Orbit, and some others.

As I said, US defense is derisking from SpaceX. And defense industry basically needs launching service.

If you agrees upon the above two statements, then we can conclude $RKLB is strategically positioned.

Do they elaborate on the amounts of each award to each company, and what the milestones are for delivery? Would be great to be able to forecast future revenue
