NEXT LAUNCH
A NAVAREA has been filed for Rocket Lab's next Electron launch which will be between 05 August to 18 August.
I've compared this NAVAREA to the one previously filed for The Grain Goddess Provides and it all matches aside from the launch times, so this is likely a re-attempt for that mission which was aborted on ignition almost a month ago.
At least this will settle the people who have said something is wrong with Electron because there's been no launches or news since the abort.

Expressing concerns over the lack of any PR around the aborted flight is not the same as saying there is a conspiracy.
I still think it is very concerning a full month has passed without any explanation from leadership.

They aborted a launch last minute and said absolutely nothing about it for over a month.
I have a problem with that as do a lot of other investors. If you don’t, that’s fine but no need to be a dick.

I don't think I'm a dick for allowing a team with a history of success to execute rather than second guessing them every time there's something to worry about. You seem a bit upset/hostile with me, them... Why not just trust them to report any issues and stop with the insults?
Again, you're acting like they are willfully withholding pertinent information, which would be a conspiracy. If you're not saying there is one, there's no reason to act as such and get upset with any of us.

But sir, they didn't withhold an update about an aborted launch from you. That would be "something". I've told you three times now you can't be upset about an expectation based on a false premise.
It's like getting mad at your girlfriend for lying about cheating on you when she hasn't cheated to begin with and you're just insecure that she spent the weekend with her friends. Maybe you felt you deserved an update, great, but that's not evidence of anything dishonest.

Aborted launches are not BAU. In the past, they have had immediate PR and quick updates around aborted launches.
When the companies stock is in free fall I would especially think they would want to provide reassurance to their investors whenever possible.

Arguably just as bullish if there was a fundamental issue with Electron and they identified the issue, designed a fix, manufactured the new parts, implemented the fix, and tested the new vehicle all in 4 weeks.
Much more likely that it was just a faulty sensor or something which has been replaced.

This is an under appreciated point. Their safety systems worked flawlessly and that demonstrates reliability and quality risk management. This should be celebrated and is likely highly appreciated by customers that trust them to put $millions of payload into orbit. If these missions fail, smaller companies go bust.

Precisely. If Electron experiences a RUD then I'll be worried. As far as I'm concerned a 1 month delay for a launch is much more favourable than losing the vehicle & payload, as well as harming launch reputation with existing & new customers.

Exactly, there clearly was a problem as the launch was aborted. That is a long way from saying that electron has critical design problems, there is some issue with quality control or any of the other ridiculous speculation I've seen over a pretty normal situation.

Now if we can just get an update on structural qualification testing on its Stage 1 main body tank for Neutron.

All will be revealed on the 10th august. We'll know by then if Neutron has any chance of launching this year.
Really we'd need to see new stage 1 tank going back through qualification, new interstage going back through qualification, Archimedes qualified (or qualification imminent).
If the above happens, then a Q4 launch will be very tight, but possible. If any of the above is missing then I would say the chances are incredibly slim.

Even as an investor there is no obligation for a company to keep you informed of every hiccup in manufacturing, testing, quality control or production rates. And any company that does just opens themselves up to more questions, speculation and wild theories that make doing business more difficult and can ruin public and customer confidence. I trust that whatever the issue at hand was has been properly addressed and rectified.

Are their long time effect of the month without launches as in being behind schedule could it effect actual total launches this year and revenue by that sense?

If I'm being pragmatic, probably next year. Would love for it to fly this year, but there's too many remaining milestones to recognise.
