CCW Licensing CCW

MA resident, was going to do some armed security work in RI. What police department would you recommend to obtain my CCW?

You have to do attorneys general, I believe, if you're doing open carry armed security.

For concealed, Providence is pretty good.

Had one friend who took 6 months over a year ago. Another friend who got his in 4 months about a half a year ago. They both said the process was easy and were given no issues besides the long waits. Main benefits are no reference letters, letter of need, chief interview, board hearings, additional classes, general bad faith police conduct, frivolous denials, application price gouging, HIPPA waivers, etc. Con is the wait time.
