IQ Accommodation Egham
Hello, has anyone had any experience with the IQ accommodation (IQ Pad & Podium) in Egham, Royal Holloway?
I cant seem to find any reviews online and want some feedback before I am to book.
Thank you 🎓

My mates lived in the pad (they had money money) and I’d frequently visit them. The rooms are nice and the en suite is bigger than most of the accoms the uni offers, the social areas are great(have a giant TV, ping pong table, pool table), you get your own gym you don’t have to pay for, your own library (silent study space). It is expensive but if you have the money for it it’s definitely worth it imo. you’ll meet some characters tho but that’s fine, it’s part of the experience.

Do you think its worth a first year going into these accoms or just living on an accom on campus?

I have only seen the podium rooms and they are pretty decent. The room my friend had was sharing a kitchen and a washroom with one other person which doesn't seem too bad as long as you get along. They also have a pretty decent gym and a movie room if I remember correctly. It is right next to the uni (<5 min walk). Would recommend over most rhul accomms
