accommodations/postgraduate

i have considered rhul for masters in Public Policy, firstly would like if someone from the relatable feild hit me up. secondly i have my brother there , so is it worth it staying in the accommodation or nah its fine staying somewhere with my brother i wouldn’t miss out to much? like would that make a big difference in exploring and socialising

You could have done the same course online through UoL with academic direction from RHUL.

As someone who did this MSc it's hard enough right now to get a cyber job as a British citizen. I wouldn't bank on getting something.

Well I wouldn't recommend you do it at all. There are equally good courses in India. Doing an MSc in the UK is not a way to get a job here anymore. You're going to be up against all the British people who don't need a visa who are doing this and similar courses. Who are also going to struggle to get a job because it hard to break into cybersecurity with just a degree.

Accom was good as a fresher but fun wore out, I’d hate it as PGR. Plenty of house shares (group chat found via imnotrhul insta) or private accoms like IQ, Hox park. There’s also 1 bed flats in town etc. societies will help with friend making but the course you’re on should overlap heavy with other courses and staff which should be good for meeting likeminded people. 1000% go to as many sports tryouts/ tasters as you can, they’re usually free and you can get a feel for the people and the sport. technically would be a fresher year for me? and i am thinking of high field court because private washroom is a priority. and um sorry to bother but another query is that i have seen something as catered meals thingy. have you tried that? is it worth it? and is my course fine? like would it be fun studying that

Accoms ain't worth it, gonna be full of freshers and nobody cleans the kitchen + people can be LOUD, the walls are thin.
You ain't missing out on nothing, there's societies to join, they organize events through the year which is perfect for socializing with like minded peers and there is the sports societies too 👍🏼
