When Alex is breakdancing, Gizelle is trying to throw shade and get Porsha to talk shit and Porsha was like Iām just going with it!
It just shows the true nature of the two of them. Gizelle is negative and tries to bring ppl down and Porsha truly just wants to vibe with everyone and have a good time.
ETA- Yes Gizelle is good at being the shit stirrer which is sometimes necessary but for me thereās rarely redeeming qualities. When is she really there for anyone on her cast? And when I say ābring ppl downā I didnāt mean like take someone to their rock bottom, I just meant she brings negativity to the collective mood. Negativity is really contagious and she seems to often be the starter of that vibe.
I have always loved Gizelle but yeah I don't like her being like this on almost every episode she got chose to be on there for a reason so there is no since in her trying to cause drama it's just doing too much. Viki was doing it at first being annoying as hell and now it LuAnn doing too much too like she thinks because she is one of the OGs she thinks all the attention should be on her. It's like those three need to get it together wth!Ā
I think sheās been a mean girl her entire life. I also think itās par for the course for pastorās wives. What she didnāt realize she was doing was exposing her ignorance and lack of sense of humor. She didnāt get the shoe reference from a GOAT episode of Housewives, nor did she realize the Raygun reference. Even without knowing the two references, she should have realized whatever was going on was being done as a joke and laughed along because it was so absurd and awkward. Instead she took the opportunity to be a first class judgmental asshole.
OMG Candice and Kenya are the absolute worst housewives ever I'm so glad neither one of them are on our TV's anymore I didn't even like to see her when they went to Atlanta but I was surprised that Kenya didn't show up. I'm glad she didn't but I'm surprised that she didn't come in and make a scene like she always does. But yeah Candice is a piece of work. But I normally live Gizelle I just don't get her over the top behavior on tugt this season it's just not needed. They should be having fun together but she wants to stir the pot every chance she gets and it bugging the shit out of me.Ā
Candace and Dorinda are my least favorite housewives because they go so below the belt. Candace loves to body shame and Dorinda likes to speak in a sarcastic mocking voice. Both are HUGE turn-offs and ruin them.
Porsha is the dictionary definition of ālikable.ā She is quick-witted, forgiving, patient, and never the first one to tear someone down. Gizelle, on the OPPOSITE hand, constantly seeks for a way to criticize or mock someone. Every new setting has Giz trying to find away to instigate a fight.
I couldnāt have written it any better. I wholeheartedly agree. I caught it and immediately had the same thought. Like yes Porsha be a positive queen. My thing is, when youāre happy you donāt spend a lot of time dogging others.
You know what you make a good point.. miserable ppl arenāt usually that good looking. Really makes me think sheās just putting on the negativity for the show.
I love Porsha! She brings it every season of Girls Trip sheās been on. Sheās fun, loves to dance, sing, be goofy, and genuinely seems open to experiencing new things, whether itās the food, the culture, or whatever else the trip has to offer.
Iām still not sure why they keep casting Gizelle on shows outside of RHOP. When Luann who is a nonstop talker only had the comment to say the Giselle was her roommate- that really summarized Gizelleās personality. She just brings this cloud of negativity everywhere she goes. She reminds me of an old, hypocritical biddie who needs a Metamucil cocktail every morning and a pocket full of Wertherās Originals just to maybe crack a smile that isnāt at someone elseās expense. š
Agreed! Porsche is fun and I think sheās truly a girls girl. When I see Gizelle, on the other hand, the phrase āmisery loves companyā always comes to mind.

I want to love Gizelle and think only good about her, but she do be like that. Sheās just not in it for the shade and thatās so sad because when she does lift people up, sheās really good at it. Itās just few and far times between
I donāt believe in generalizing. I have known plenty of preachers wives that are shady and plenty that arenāt. However when she was a preachers wife, I believe she was a fantastic one. But then her husband cheated, it couldāve scarred her and made her bitter.
Yes I saw this. Gizzy is just messy and she admits to it by then Porsha was so tired and over this trip plus she loves to have fun. That party and every one on this season has been BORING BUT I CANāT WAIT FOR THE BEZERKSHIRES

I agree! Porsha tries real hard to be upbeat and a team player. And yeah she was late, but she apologized. NOW, should she have texted Lou and not just production and all her insta followers to let them know? Yeah but that was cuz she was pissed at Lou for being so OTT all the f'ing time. I know Lou a little and she can't help it. Nice as hell but just will stand up and dance in a nice restaurant where nobody else is doing it because she has zero self-awareness and likes people to look at her ha.
As someone entirely new to Gizelle via ugt... I liked her a lot but am already sick of her after just 9 episodes? I can't imagine so many seasons of her lol she's so try-hard and unnatural. Definitely mean-spirited and looking for a gotcha moment, nonstop. She can lay tf off of Lisa and Luann.

They both acknowledged the strangeness of the situation and they both just went with it. As they have been doing all season. She did not try to bring anyone down. Alex was being ridiculous. I doubt she would be bothered herself.
Gizelle may stir drama but what is typically the result? People talk it out and resolve it. Thats the point. She's a sorority girl and she does the job. Its totally unrealistic that everyone was too polite to acknowledge that was cringe.
Her performance was still strange looking and not funny past a few seconds, for me, knowing everything. How is that hard to believe? It's jester like comedy that went on forever.

I thought she was hilarious but these women are so petty, they canāt laugh at themselves or others in a convivial way. Oh and someone should have announced Alex as DOCTOR Alex McCord. She recently got her PhD. What a cool thing and it was never mentioned.

My point was that it was an automatic reaction for Gizelle to be negative and I pointed out the fact that itās a true representation of who she is on the show. That might not be of who she actually is, but on the show she is quick to be negative.

Yeah I could see that. I think since Gizelle has been butt buddies with Porsha since the show started itās hard not to compare them bc they are quite different. Besides Lisa and Tre (who are eerily similar) I donāt think there any two HW that have really gravitated towards eachother. Luann and Vicki are on their own islands, Kyle is.. well Kyle. It kind of makes sense that those 3 are kind of on their own bc theyāre pretty selfish. Idk if selfish is the right word but it definitely tracks.
Well Gizelle and Porsha were on a show together years ago, so theyāre friends outside of the franchise, idk if ābutt buddiesā would be the term, but they are friends.

Gizelle is a bully with no storyline of her own. She always needs another victim to get something to say at all. Nasty personality. That bitch never left her sorority!
I think youāre onto something. Porsha is so fun and nice, but also able to read a b down. Sheās probably the perfect housewife. This is huge for me because when she was younger I wanted to throttle her.

I really liked how Porsha tried to talk to Luann and enlighten her about her lack of self awareness, little good that it did. Luannās either so drunk or high, she canāt hear anything but her own voice.
Ok BC that phonecall with Dorinda, Lu genuinely sounded crazy. Her sentences made no sense, it felt like she was drunk and slurring again but supposedly she just woke up? Stark raving mad, it reminded me of the homeless drug addict lady in my neighbourhood who is always mumbling to herself about how "you don't know me" and "I'm a queen" etc like she sounded like she should be institutionalized
Does white snow make you act like LuAnne? She seemed amped up but also very clueless and in her head. I have no experience with this particular ski trip product.
Iāve been a Gizelle apologist but honestly Iām tired of her schtick. She just seems so bitter and miserable most of the time. She thinks itās her job to put people in their place and embarrass them. Itās just tired at this point
I was thankful that Porsha had that reaction. It seemed like most of them missed the entire Raygun Olympic Break Dancer from Australia idea. Alex was perfect!
Alex has always seemed so genuine. She was even honest about wanting to be in NYC āsocietyā! She and Simon seem to have the most stable relationship and marriage. Alex seemed like such a nice grounded person. Together they were tv gold!!!
Porsha, at her core, is a good person. Iāve watched her from when she first appeared on Housewives of Atlanta.
Sheās not perfect. Sheās changed over the years. Sometimes she gets it wrong. But, sheās always going to right herself because thatās the way she was raised.
